Methods
The patient is on the couch in a relaxed state. The doctor inserts acupuncture needles with rotary motion into acupuncture points to a depth of 5 to 15-20 mm, depending on the depth of the point occurrence. The needles are left in the tissues for 15-20 minutes. Pre-injection part is treated with 70% alcohol. After the procedure, the doctor or nurse removes the needle with rotary motion. Injection site is treated with 70% alcohol.
The main indications
- Diseases of the peripheral nervous system with sensitive and moving problems (radiculitis, neuritis, neuralgia, plexitis); peripheral paralysis of the facial nerve and trigeminal neuralgia.
- Diseases of the musculoskeletal system, joints, muscles of the exchange, rheumatic and traumatic origin.
